TJIP Studio designed this beautiful apartment, the “Zoute apartment”, where its located in the coast region of Knokke-Zoute, Belgium. It is a 36m2 apartment that includes a bathroom, toilet, fully equipped kitchen, storage, bedroom, dressing room, and living room. The designers chose earthly tones, light beige, and pastel one, in reference to the Belgian coastline, in order to give more attention to detailing towards a warm feeling of space, both in materials and colors. The kitchen island is placed like an altar. It is made from sandstone which again refers to the coastline close by. The edges are raw to add a more earthly feeling.
