Calvin Klein’s Miami beach house is about 500 square meters and most of the furniture and antiques were chosen by the designer Axel Vervoordt. The colonial-style house was built in 1929 but he acquired it in 1999 to make it his private refuge. The house has five rooms with a private bathroom. The warm, rustic feel of the Spanish Colonial design is carried throughout the expansive home, with antique timber floorboards, exposed timber beams, polished concrete floors, and a Mediterranean-inspired private central courtyard.
The home is white-washed throughout. Dark accents such as these stunning sliding doors add sophisticated detail. A natural palette of worn timber, luxurious linen, and lush greenery creates a serene feeling in the loft-like master suite. Outdoor living zones are traditionally incorporated into Spanish-style architecture – designed for a lifestyle that revolves around entertaining, relaxing, and the outdoors.
