Through the lens of Max Zambelli

Thanks to the world-renowned fashion photographer, Nadir, Max learns the art of image construction, lightning techniques and organization of a set in the fashion world in the 1980’s, before the digital era.
Max worked for 5 years as Nadir’s assistant, overseeing details for important clients of the Paris haute couture, attending to Japanese fashion in Tokyo and covering clients from Bergdorf and Goodman in New York to remote villages in places like Egypt and Guatemala.
He feels a range of unique emotions and has many formative experiences that leave an indelible mark on his professional path and career.
The exposure to sensational landscapes, innovative design and beautiful architecture, along with the connection Max feels towards these, inspire his work and shape his ability to penetrate beyond the façade and deep into the essence of the subject, giving his pictures a strong personal imprint and style that grant him international recognition in the world of design.
Contributing to a wide range of publications such as Elle Decor Italia/USA, Elle Decoration UK, Vogue Brasil and RUM Denmark, and working for international brands like Missoni Home, Giorgetti, Bloomingdale’s New York, Compass NY, Fendi Casa, Flou, Kitchen-Aid, Frette, Technogym, Laufen CH, bulthaup, Zucchetti, Lissoni Architect and Molteni to name a few, Max develops a refined sensibility which evolves into a dynamic and original interpretation of every story, enhancing the authenticity of the project.
After 25 years working with some of the most fascinating personalities and companies worldwide, Max decides to move to New York looking toward the expansion of his professional landscape and the ability to research a new source of creative inspiration.
