In 2016 Jasper Conran, a British designer, had opened his first hotel in the heart of the Medina in Marrakech. L’Hôtel Marrakech is a historic 19th Century Riad, originally the central part of a Caidal palace, comprising of five spacious suites surrounding a courtyard garden and swimming pool.
This charming retreat combines delicious food, great comfort and service whilst capturing the elegance of hotels of the 1930s. The Riad combines superb Moroccan craftsmanship with pieces of antique furniture, textiles, lighting and art from Jasper’s collection, making it feel more like a home than a hotel.
In April 2017 L’Hôtel Marrakech was listed as 1 of 75 in the Hot List 2017: Best New Hotels in the World, Condé Nast Traveler USA.
