Jaune architectural studio designed the beautiful 280 m2 Mandel apartment. Marine and Paula, founders of Jaune, forged their experience, one at Studio KO and the other at Joseph Dirand. In 2015, Marine Delaloy and Paula Alvarez de Toledo founded Jaune, choosing the name (“yellow”) to reflect their Marseille origins. Together they have developed a precise, exacting style tinged with the influence of their mentors but nonetheless highly personal.
Their projects are characterized by the judicious use of superior materials, which serve as a unifying theme to animate the spaces that they compose and adorn the furniture that they create. Their signature is a radical yet refined combination of natural materials, muted colors and mineral surfaces that breathe life into the apartments they design, many in the classic Parisian Haussmann style.
