Nestled among centenary Olive trees – near the Village of Oumes – Berber Lodge comprises nine individual lodges laid out in a Berber village feel.
Just twenty minute’s drive to Marrakesh yet also nearby Lake Takerkoust, Berber Lodge is ideally placed to discover the amazing preserved nature that Morocco has to offer.
Berber Lodge, – consisting of 9 cottages, with private garden or terrace, and with a swimming pool and restaurant -, is the latest project of architect Romain Michel-Meniere, a French-Swiss architect who came to Morocco 15 years ago.
Traditional Berber building techniques – earth bricks, wooden beams of palm tree and eucalyptus – are tastefully combined with low key country chic decor, rattan, vintage fabrics from Morocco and abroad, with tadelakt and marble bathrooms adding the requisite amount of luxury.
The atmosphere is serene, spacious and the perfect place to relax after the bustle of Marrakesh, or even life!
