Located in Tiverton Road in London, there is a small paradise with monastic influence which is inspired from the Turner’s paint ‘Interior of an Italian Church’, completed by the Japanese architect Takero Shimazaki.
Indeed Takero managed to incorporate the domination of diffusible light through the arch windows using as foundation of the whole construction elements from the wabi-sabi philosophy.
Entry from the street is through the concealed door of a chestnut fence.. The corridors’ basic characteristic is the diffused light coming from the glass and the arch openings.
Summarizing, this particular house incorporates the combination of concrete, natural wood and stone creating a dreamy result.
