A renovated country house in Chamonix, France by Angelique Buisson.
Angelique has been looking for a long time how to harmonize, energize this renovation and it is the color that has become obvious: it comes here to punctuate this country house of the XVIII, it comes to structure and let the story tell with authenticity.
The color modernizes the space by its flat areas, it gives light and dynamic breaths.
The result is bluffing, authenticity and modernity codes are played with gaiety and respect of tradition but it would not have been possible without the great confidence of the owners: some features of the existing deserved to be put forward, of others deserved to be forgotten!
“The neo-rustic, it’s chic” titled Elle Decoration in January 2017, a development and a mountain decoration successful for a revival of the genre: family furniture that combines the essentials of design, a stainless steel kitchen that illuminates the original peel, many partitions felled to find light and color!
