Set in the soulful village of Naousa —the jewel of Paros— with the clear-blue Aegean water at its feet, beachfront Cosme, a Luxury Collection Resort, embraces the energy of the sea and reciprocates the joyful pulse of the town. Cosme takes its name from the Greek word “κόσμος”, being the first compound for “cosmopolitan,” or else citizen of the world.
Sitting at the heart of the Cyclades, within the Aegean Sea, Paros is an island with a cosmopolitan personality; an international trade hub since ancient times, where merchants from around the world would meet to exchange goods, stories, and traditions. 40 stunning suites envelop guests in a luxurious narrative of Paros, balancing the traditional textures and local stone with carefully curated decoration and adornments by local contemporary artists, combined with original gravures of Paros’ folk life and naval tradition.
With reference to the original style and the special beauty of Paros, the decor elegantly mixes old engravings with scenes of Parian everyday life, objects, and works of art by Greek artists (Margarita Myrogianni, Christina Mandilari-Naked Summers, Terpsichori, etc.), characteristic tapestries and fabrics with hand-made embroideries of the Pierre Frey house and of course the rough Cycladic lines created by the intense photo-shading of the Greek sun.
Celebrated Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou will be leading the culinary journey at Cosme bringing his passion for “Medite-grecian” cuisine to the hotel’s stunning beachfront Parostia Restaurant and the laidback serene Volta Restaurant.
