BRUT 172 by Niels Maier

Maastricht-based interior designer Niels Maier created a fine-dining concept, the BRUT 172, for Hans van Wolde ( Former chef and owner of Beluga in Maastricht, former 2 Michelin star restaurant ), located 172 meters above Normal Amsterdam Level (NAL / NAP) in Limburg, the South of the Netherlands in the country hillside.
The Layout is based on a personal and fragmented experience by the vision of the chef and owner Hans van Wolde. The result is a refined interior with a bold mix between a pared-down and natural brutal atmosphere in a minimal luxury and rich setup. In May of 2021 BRUT 172 received 2 Michelin stars and has made the shortlist for the 2021 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards in the Luxury category.
