The architecture studio Dieter Vander Velpen has managed to create a luxurious apartment, the BC House, which it was built in the 1970’s, near Leuven, in Belgium. They use material palette of dark walnut, black granite and limestone in order to improve the kitchen and bathroom ofthe apartment.
To make sure that the new spaces are matching with the rest house they desided to take some cues from the existing furniture. As Dieter Vander Velpen told to his interveiw to Dezeen “With the combination of a timeless material palette and strong, pure lines, we aimed for a look of ‘understated luxury”.
