This Belgian-inflected ‘50s Venice bungalow is the house of Hayden Slater, who is the founder of Pressed Juicery. His 2,000-square-foot bungalow with its French oak floors he created a museum-like energy in which each is seemingly padded with air and light.
The furnitures that stand out are the Pierre Jeanneret chair, the David Lynch lamp, in his office the Børge Mogensen couch, the Peter Beard print and the prized Jeanneret desk. As Slater says: “I viewed this, especially going super minimal, like the entire house was a piece of art. There was so much purpose and intent put into every piece of furniture and every light and the materials but also the hardware. I really was trying to create something unique and different.”
