The CS13 project by Maximale Studio is based on the premise of respecting the past of a historic building in the center of Malaga, while seeking to respond to the specific requirements of temporary users and, therefore, with minimal housing needs. It comprises a set of 7 apartments along with their respective common areas, recovering artistic and architectural elements of great value.
Inside, the apartments reflect on contemporary functionality and the absence of ornament while establishing a dialogue with the vibrant details of this unique building. All floors are resolved into two different typologies of pre-existing homes in which, as you ascend, the specific elements of the façade and roof bathe the space in light and warmth.
