There was never any question that Paul Massey would be anything other than a photographer. He was taking pictures, then developing and printing the results by the time he was five years old.
At sixteen he was given a full time position on The London Evening Standard, the youngest ever to join the staff. After seven years Paul moved to the Daily Mirror and later to The European, having been personally chosen by Robert Maxwell as Chief Photographer, then on to The London Times and Sunday Times Magazine.
News and features photography took Paul around the world covering war and famine, sport, politics and celebrity.
In 1990 Paul began his freelance career concentrating on fashion, portraiture, and interiors photography.
Paul’s lifestyle and interiors photography is regularly featured in books and magazines in the UK and internationally particularly in Living Etc, House and Garden, Elle Decoration, GQ, Vogue, The Times, Observer, The New York Times and Paris Match.
