A challenge for the French designer

Forgotten for many decades the Mexican hacienda is located in Xucu, in the province of Yucatan, Mexico.
Emmanuel Picault who has lived in Mexico City since 2000, and owns the gallery “Chic by Accident”, fell in love with this old hacienda which was built in the 1830’s.
The restoration works for this neglected building were considered to be almost impossible, as Emmanuel remembers.
The designer decided to keep all the signs that time had left on the building.
So the space was transformed by giving it back its old prestige.
