Α concrete silo apartment by Arjaan De Feyter
This stunning apartment in Antwerp is exactly what its name says, Silo Apartment, inspired by the fact that it is actually housed between four silos!
And if you’re wondering what silos are, let me explain that they are the towering, usually cylindrical buildings that resemble towers and you meet them in industrial units.
Previously used to be made of stone, later cement and metal were adopted for their construction and their use was intended for the storage of materials.
In this case, the silos of the old brewery that used to be used in the building were used to store grain and are made of industrial concrete!
And somewhere among these huge cement silos, the architect Arjaan De Feyter has decided to create a luxurious and absolutely atmospheric apartment!
