Departing from the typical brownstone aesthetic, the apartment now features limewashed walls in warm tones throughout, providing a soothing backdrop for Danielle’s vintage furniture collection.
Lauren’s design approach embraces organic textures and materials such as reclaimed timber and worn linen, celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the passage of time. The open-plan living area showcases a blend of travertine, clay, timber, linen, and cane, with a unique off-white sofa serving as a focal point. The collaboration between LP Creative, Danielle, and Corvino Designs resulted in bespoke pieces that complement the apartment’s ethos, including a bookshelf in the entryway and an illusion wall fireplace.
Artisanal pieces, sourced locally and globally, add character to the space and reflect Danielle’s commitment to supporting small businesses through her nonprofit initiative, wegavewhat.
