Project B by Thiste is a duplex apartment nestled in the heart of an 18th-century building on the left bank, where they had to design a welcoming jewel box for a nomadic family and its magnificent collection of art and furniture. They rethought the volumes and layout of the rooms, providing new perspectives and revealing the beautiful original threads.
While preserving the authenticity and charm of the place, they breathed into it an assertive contemporary touch, creating a subtle contrast to highlight the assets of this apartment, including the magnificent original Versailles floor that we have fully restored. The palette of carefully selected colors and materials, from oak to walnut, through travertine, lacquers and flannel, establishes a discreet and refined harmony, reflecting the elegant and intimate character of this pied-à-terre.
