This beautiful modern and minimal house is Residence’s former editor-in-chief, Hanna Nova Beatrice. The house is located in a residential town between Stuvsta and Huddinge hills, Sweeden. Hanna’s house is a stranger in the myriad of house types. Really a modernist box, but landed with a strong idea. The kitchen comes from Three Centuries, designed by Elisabet Ahlgren and Hannah’s husband Matti, who worked at the company, built it from scratch. The beautiful window is made by Bovall’s door construction, fireplace, Bertazzoni, window urn, Carl Hansen & son, vase on the floor, Nick Ross.
The floor IQ surface from Tarkett, the color was launched at this year’s furniture fair. The house was designed by the Yugoslav architect Radovan Halper and is locally called the Mushroom House. In some angles, it resembles a sponge, where it balances on its narrow concrete foot. The room’s staircase collars outlaid on a steel rack. The view from the living room is like taken from a drone, we hang over the eaves. The formerly so radical box has been normalized to become a better house. The previous owners built outdoor storage and changed facades. To make contact with the ground, Hanna let her build a terrace that connects to the rocks. Over the years, the interior has been fixed, step by step.
