Danish design company Vipp launches its fourth hotel installment, another one-room-wonder, the Vipp Farmhouse, this time on the island of Lolland, Denmark. The quintessential, leafy countryside escape is set on an idyllic nature-based island known for its history, charm, and grand estates. Commissioned by Vipp and the estate owner Ulrik Th. Jørgensen, interior designer Julie Cloos Mølsgaard has realized a modern farmhouse, that combines historical charm with modern convenience.
Whitewashed facades topped with a thatched roof equals a traditional Danish farmhouse. And checking into this former gardener residence is like stepping back in time. While the architectural shell is a reminiscence from when it was built in the late 18th century, the newly furbished interior brings us into the modern area of Scandinavian minimalism. Comprising three bedrooms, each with double beds, three bathrooms, and an open plan Vipp kitchen and living, the two-story hotel is ideal for 6 guests. The ground-floor bedroom opens up to a terrace garden, endless fields, and leafy forest views.
